The Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association is holding their annual convention in San Angelo, Texas. The 1940 Convention marks the Silver Anniversary of the association. In attendance are Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lawhorn Junior of Eldorado, Texas. The couple are enjoying the business and social sessions of the convention. Mrs. Lawhorn is wearing a hat and a fur coat. Mr. Lawhorn is dressed in a cowboy hat and a three-piece suit. There is a carnation pinned to his lapel.
