The Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association is holding their annual convention in San Angelo, Texas. The 1940 Convention marks the Silver Anniversary of the association. In attendance, left to right, are J. Ralph Stewart and R. Beal Pumphrey. Mr. Stewart, of San Angelo, Texas, is secretary of the association. He is looking at an informational poster on the Angora goat breed. The poster includes a picture of an Angora goat and facts about its fleece. Mr. Stewart is dressed in a suit. Mr. Pumphrey is a representative of the Union Stockyards of San Antonio, Texas. He is dressed in a hat and a three-piece pinstripe suit.
