Description
A $700,000 pilot training center is being built and nearing completion just outside of San Angelo, Texas. The contractors and engineers are setting a fast pace to finish the construction. An aerial view of San Angelo's business district is shown. The Concho River, on the south side of town is in the foreground. The training center will be located on the other side of the River, at the junction of Fort McKavitt Road and the Brady Highway. The training center may be reached on either of the two streets shown having bridges crossing the Concho. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, December 29, 1940
