Description

The Texas League Baseball Officials are responsible for the high standard of baseball in the league. Left to right are W. O. Briggs Junior and George Schepps. Mr. Briggs is the Beaumont Exporters' vice-president. The Exporters are the minor league affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. He is dressed in a double breasted suit with a handkerchief and a pencil in his pocket. Mr. Schepps is the president of the Dallas Rebels. He is wearing a double breasted pinstripe suit without a necktie. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Sunday Edition January 21, 1940.
