Description
Tarrant County said goodbye to its first contingent of 56 trainees in ceremonies held at Main and Fifth Streets. Smiling through tears were these parents and others who waved a last farewell to the men in the buses. In the foreground are Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Armstrong and Mrs. Dave Christie. Others in the picture are Mrs. D. P. Christie Jr., Laura McLeland, Agnes Christie, Mrs. Fred Kemp and Idell Steinfeldt. There is a crowd behind them waving goodbye.
