Description
There was plenty of activity at City-County Hospital as 126 Tarrant County registrant volunteers passed through a line of medical examiners. A group of respiratory specialists were kept busy in one section of the long line of perspective trainees thumping chests and listening to their breathing. Doctor R. C. Ball is shown here checking the lung power of J. P. Johnson, 24 from 2406 Prairie Avenue. He is wearing his stethoscope and listening to Mr. Johnson's lung capacity. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 14, 1940.
