Description

R. L. "Dutch" Meyer is the head football coach at Texas Christian University. In 1938 he led the Horned Frogs to a National Championship. He is demonstrating his off-season routine, which still involves football. Coach Meyer is pointing out possible plays on a blackboard to his line coach, Mike Brumbelow. Coach Meyer is wearing a hat and a dark suit. Coach Brumbelow is dressed in a hat and a three piece suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, February 11, 1940.
