Description

Here is Snooks, a nine-year-old white horse and his owner, Grady Blue, manager of the S. B. Cantey Estate ranch near Palo Pinto in action. This pair has won the championship in the cutting horse contest at the Texas Cowboy Reunion at Stamford in 1940, at Mineral Wells and Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show at Fort Worth in 1941 and 1942. Here is a dogie that is cut out. Snooks, with his bridle removed, goes about his work with but one thought in mind, that is, keeping that dogie from the herd. Grady Blue is mounted on Snooks. There is an unidentified man on a horse and a cattle-herd in the background.
