Description

Here is Snooks, a nine-year-old white horse and his owner, Grady Blue, manager of the S. B. Cantey Estate ranch near Palo Pinto in action. This pair has won the championship in the cutting horse contest at the Texas Cowboy Reunion at Stamford in 1940, at Mineral Wells and Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show at Fort Worth in 1941 and 1942. Here is Snooks making a quick take-off to keep the animal from the herd and a quick stop when she stopped. There is an cattle herd in the background.
