Description

Amateur boxers from all around the area are preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Bill Anderson is once again training to compete in the tournament. He fought in one of the most entertaining fights in the 1941 competition and lost to Andy Eagleton in the finals of the middleweight division. This year Anderson is competing in the light heavyweight division. He is shown standing in front of a fireplace at the Medical Arts building.
