Two Hampshires exhibited by Glenn Retreat Farms, Dallas, Texas of the recent State Fair of Texas at Dallas are pictured here. The second prize ram of the show (left) is shown held by H. Canada, shepherd at Glenn Retreat, while the grand champion ewe of the show (right) is pictured as she was held by Walter Glenn, owner of the stock farm. Both men wearing suits and cowboy hats are sitting close to the Hampshires and patting them. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 21, 1941.
