Description
Joe Dixon and the champion Hampshire ram of the recent State Fair of Texas at Dallas show are pictured here. Harrison Davis of Dorchester is the owner of this ram and Joe Dixon is shepherd for Mr. Davis. Mr. Dixon is kneeling by the ram's side and holding the ram. He is wearing shirt, trousers, tie and a cowboy hat. This ram was champion, also, of the recent Oklahoma City and Muskogee, Oklahoma, shows. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 21, 1941.
