Description
Three military officers, Camp Bowie are pictured here. Lieutenant Colonel (LIEUT COL.) P. C. Bullard, on table, chief umpire, studied the situation at the outset of VIII Army Corps field exercises near Camp Bowie last week, with two Red generals, Lieutenant Colonel (Lieut. Col.) Major M. Rains, left, and Lieutenant Colonel (Lieut) H. G. Fry, field commander of the enemy invaders. The 45th Division, in the second problem, moved immediately to protect the Brownwood-Goldthwaite traffic artery, U. S. Highway 84. Bullard and Fry are hunching over a table, studying the war map while Lieutenant Rains is sitting, appearing to be taking notes.
