Some of Fine Palomino Entries in West Texas Fair at Abilene -- The Palomino show Monday was a feature of the West Texas Fair at Abilene. Sobrelas Olas, one of the fine specimens of this beautiful strain is shown here. This horse was champion stallion of the show and first prize winning lightweight stallion. Sobrelas owned and shown by Lane Hudson of Big Spring. A man dressed in a cowboy hat, a satin western shirt, trousers and cowboy boots is holding this horse's lead rope. Background showing railroad cars and tents. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 9, 1940.
