Some of Fine Palomino Entries in West Texas Fair at Abilene -- The Palomino show Monday was a feature of the West Texas Fair at Abilene. Rascal, one of the fine specimens of this beautiful strain is shown here. A man wearing a cowboy hat, collared shirt, necktie, and trousers is holding Rascal's halter and lead rope. Rascal is the winner of first prize in the yearling stallion division, owned by E. V. Hughes of Baird. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 9, 1940.
