Description
Members of the 1940 National Range Tour visited ranges and ranch homes in Texas June 24-28, 1940. Among those who made the tour through Texas were, mounted on horses, left to right, Grove C. Hill, George H. Slaughter, assistant, Texas committeeman secretary of agriculture, and I. W. Duggan, director of the Southern Division of the Department of Agriculture, Washington, D. C. All three men are wearing suits and hats and are holding lassos. An unidentified man on a horse is at the far right. In the background, at right, are several trees and a building.
