    Description

    Members of the 1940 National Range Tour visited ranges and ranch homes in Texas June 24-28, 1940. Among those who made the tour through Texas were, left to right, front row, Jerome Evans, of Boise, Idaho, and V. V. Parr, of Spur, Texas; back row, John Stringer, of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Jerome Evans and Milford J. Vaught, of Mackay, Idaho. Mr. Evans and Mr. Parr are kneeling on the grass while those in the back row are standing. All the tour members are holding beverages and plates of food. Mr. Stringer is wearing a three-piece suit and a hat. Mrs. Evans is wearing a blouse, trousers and a hair wrap. Mr. Vaught is wearing a suit with a striped necktie and a hat. Mr. Evans is wearing a suit and necktie. Mr. Parr is wearing a suit with a bow tie and eyeglasses. On the grass, between Evans and Parr, is a hat.
