Description
Friends from of upwards of 150 miles thronged to Throckmorton's twelfth annual County Fair and Rodeo. H. L. Martin is posing with two of the several calves he is exhibiting at the fair. On the left is "Tex," a calf bred by R. A. Brown. Tex won first in the junior dry lot division. "Sleepy," on the right, also came from the Brown herd and was among Mr. Martin's second prize winning animals. Mr. Martin is dressed in a tilted cowboy hat, striped dress shirt, cuffed jeans, and cowboy boots.
