Description
Friends from of upwards of 150 miles thronged to Throckmorton's twelfth annual County Fair and Rodeo. Three Vernon High School girls will lead their school band in the parade. They are left to right, Doris Tinker, Willadean Jackson, and Melva McCracken, leaders of the Vernon High School band. They are dressed in band uniforms and hats. Doris and Melva are baton twirlers while Willadean is the drum major.
