Texas Christian University (TCU) vs. Texas Agricultural & Mechanical University (TAMU) basketball game with Don Volding, Bob Kamperman (33), Jim Kirkland (17), Julius Donics (15), Frank Kudlaty (18) at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. In the picture, TAMU's Volding comes down with the ball in his hands after TCU misses a shot at the basket in the first half of the game. Mid air, behind Volidng is TCU's Dolnics with his right hands up in the air. Kudlaty waits for Volding's landing with arms wide open, ready to grab the ball. There are other unidentified players on the court and all players are wearing their school's jersey, sock with sneakers and some have knee pads. TCU won the game 46-41. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 22, 1948.
