Description
Bob Hendricks (6) of Texas Christian University (TCU) taps Southern Methodist University (SMU)'s Harrold Salmon on shoulder in scramble for ball as Ponies defeated Frogs, 63-48. The tall boy at left is TCU's Frank Kudlaty. It was closing game. There are other unidentified players on the court and all players are wearing their school's jersey, sock with sneakers and some players have knee pads.The basketball net is to the left of the picture hanging from the backboard. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 4, 1948.
