Description
Polytechnic High School vs. Arlington Heights High School basketball game with Tommy Taylor, Bob Thomas, and Joe Burdett. In the picture, Taylor has the ball in his hands about to make a shot into the net while Burdett (11) and Thomas (15) try using their hands to block the ball. There are other unidentified players on the court and they are wearing their school's jersey, socks, sneakers, and some have knee pads. Polytechnic won 7-AA second half open, 45-42. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 4, 1948.
