Description
Paschal's Jim Rich (right) fouls Poly's Luther Scarborough while pursuing a free ball. In the picture, Rich uses his elbow to shove Scarborough's right arm. Both players put on Jersey number 3 from their different teams, knee pads, and socks with sneakers. A referee walks towards the players. There is also another player on the court headed for the ball. Spectators fill the gym bleachers. Rich's eagerness on the game cost him five personal fouls, but his mates won, 24-19. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 7, 1948.
