Description
In the picture, Riverside's Jack Huston leaps (no. ), to make a shot in the basketball net. In front of Huston is Chico Urquidi, attempting to block his ball. Other players on the court include Weldon Basinger from Fort Worth Tech with Jersey number 10, Tim Broyles with Riverside's Jersey number 7 and two unidentified Fort Worth Tech players in Jersey number 6 and 11. There are tall windows on the side of the gym and a crowd is seated watching the game in the background. All players are wearing jerseys , athletic shoes, and some are also wearing knee pads. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 10, 1948.
