In the picture, Bob Patton (right) wearing jersey number 9 Amon Carter Riverside, grabs the ball with his right hand from Jim Broyles wearing jersey number 7 in a Friday night district 7-AA game. Bobby Mckee with Jersey number 6 stands behind Patton with his two hands stretched out, awaiting the outcome of the battle for the ball. There are other unidentified players on the court. All the players are wearing their team's jersey and some have knee pads. Carter Riverside rallied to score 37-31 victory. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, January 11, 1948.
