Mrs. Mary S. Borden, 90 year old, center, being greeted after her first airplane ride by her daughter, Mrs. Paul A. McDermott, left, and her granddaughter, Alice McDermott at Municipal Airport. Mrs. Borden is a member of the pioneer Texas family for which the county of Borden is named. They are standing outside in front of the plane. Mrs. Borden is wearing a dress, hat and eyeglasses. Mrs. McDermott is wearing a blouse, skirt and hat and is holding a coat. Miss McDermott is wearing a dress. Woman standing in background, at left, is unidentified.
