Image shows Mrs. Lucy Emley, to celebrate her 91st birthday. She is holding an open house at her home, 801 West Hawthorne Street. Mrs. Emley is sitting in a rocking chair, holding a book of photographs. She is in a dress with a lace collar and a Victorian silhouette brooch in the center of the collar. She has a large rectangle, onyx ring on her right hand. Behind her is a small bookshelf, with books, and a curtained window. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 31, 1940.
