Test pilots (from left) B. A. Erickson and Gus Green who safely landed a crippled XB-36 bomber airplane. In the picture, the two men are standing underneath a tree in front of a brick wall. They are looking towards the runway at Consolidated Vultee plant where they landed the bomber airplane. Both claimed it was just a routine job. The men are wearing suits and tie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 28, 1947.
