Description
The North Side Steers are facing off against the Highland Park Scots (light jerseys) in the high school football quarterfinals. The game is being played Saturday in Dallas, Texas. Highland Park back, Leo Fikes (32) is shown driving the ball to the goal-line. The seven-yard run put the Scots within six-yards of their fourth touchdown. Steers H. C. Meith (77) and Bill Bumgarner (63) missed tackles before the tackle was finally made by Bob Easly. The drive stalled after a penalty and a fumble. Highland Park went on to win the game 19-7, advancing to the State Finals.
