The North Side Steers are facing off against the Highland Park Scots (light jerseys) in the high school football quarterfinals. The game is being played Saturday in Dallas, Texas. During the first quarter Bill Bumgarner is shown running for five yards the the twenty-two. Scot guard Eddie O'Conner is shown making the tackle. Also in on the play for the Scots is Bobby Maxwell (84). Blocking for the Steers are George Maddox (66) and Charles Johnson (39). Highland Park went on to win the game 19-7, advancing to the State Finals.
