    Description

The North Side Steers are facing off against the Highland Park Scots (light jerseys) in the high school football quarterfinals. The game is being played Saturday in Dallas, Texas. In the second quarter of the contest, North Side tailback Yale Lary carried the ball. He is shown running a wide sweep, evading Scot tacklers Billy Irish (64) and Leo Fikes (32). Despite the effort, Lary was dropped for a one yard loss on the North Side thirteen. Missing a key block at the right is Steer guard Glenn Wood. Highland Park went on to win the game 19-7.
