Description
The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. Some of the students participating in the campaign are shown waiting to cross the street, standing underneath a Mobilgas sign. One of the students, Doris Renfro, is demonstrating the "barger". She is elbowing her way through the crowd so she can be the first across the street when the traffic signal changes. She is wearing a blouse, dark blazer and a matching skirt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 11, 1946.
