Description

The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. One of the students participating in the campaign is Virginia Powell. She is demonstrating improper pedestrian safety by walking on the wrong side of the road. Pedestrians should walk facing oncoming traffic. Miss Powell is wearing a sweater and a pleated skirt. There are automobiles on the street behind her. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 14, 1946.
