Description
The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. One of the students participating in the campaign is Veta Fuller. She is playing the part of a bluffer as she crosses a busy intersection. A bluffer is the pedestrian who tries to bluff a vehicle into waiting for them to cross the street when the vehicle is attempting to turn a corner. Miss Fuller is a few steps off the curve, looking at the car's direction and has on arm raise as if stopping the turning car. Miss Fuller is wearing a blouse, skirt, and a coat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 10, 1946.
