Description

Twelve Fort Worth, Texas Boy Scouts are being promoted to Eagle Scouts, the highest and most coveted rank. The class is one of the largest in the history of the Fort Worth Area Council. Receiving the award, left to right, are Bennie Mauldin, Charles McCullough, Duane Giles, and John Tom Poynor. All four boys are from Troop 118. They are dressed in their Boy Scout uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 30, 1946.
