The annual meeting for Soil Conservation and Farm Management is being held in Hillsboro, Texas. About 500 farmers and business men are in attendance, including, left to right, Clarence M. Malone, R. M. Harper, and M. R. Cring. Unexpected showers chased the convention from the football field into Doughty Hall. Mr. Malone is chairman of the board at a bank in Houston, Texas. He is wearing a collared shirt, polka-dot necktie, and trousers. Mr. Harper is a certified seed breeder. He is dressed in a button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. Mr. Cring is the publicity director for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (M-K-T) Railroad. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and trousers.
