Description
Conductor W. B. Hudgins flashes the familiar "high ball" signal to the engineer as the Santa Fe Antelope, first train to leave Fort Worth after the end of the strike Saturday, pulled out at 6:45 p. m. for Kansas City with a handful of passengers. Hudgins is wearing his uniform and has one foot on the footboard of the railroad car and other on the ground, as he signals to the engineer. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 26, 1946.
