    Description

Would-be passengers who for two days have been "waitin' for the train to come in" began ringing the telephones at the Texas and Pacific Station here as soon as the President Truman announced settlement of the strike. It took a whole battery of ticket sellers to answer the queries. They are, left to right, Mrs. Clara Ray, C. G. Kersey, Fort Worth and Denver Passenger Agent, Pat K Nicholson, Clarence Eggleston and Lora Chipman. They are in the ticket room, each on the phone. There is microphone, a table lamp, sheets of paper, train schedules and other ticketing equipment. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, may 26, 1946.
