Description
Annabelle Strand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Strand, 1303, Lincoln Court, Allen and a senior at North Side High School, was crowned queen of the annual May Fete held at Boulevard Methodist Church by the Young People's Department. In the image, she is wearing a spaghetti top with netted frill and a shirred skirt. She is wearing a crown which is a wreath made of daises. She is holding a dozen red roses handed to her by the Women's Society of Christian Service. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 19, 1946.
