    Mrs. Ann Morris, right, hands Frank W. Pruett Junior and Mrs. Pruett a $245 check. The check represents the contributions received by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram to help the Navy veteran and his wife replace the furnishings lost in a fire at their home in early March. The couple also received a quantity of clothing. Mr. Pruett is wearing a double breast pinstripe suit. Mrs. Pruett is dressed in a hat, blouse, and a checkered skirt and is holding their six-week-old daughter, Sandra Jean. Sandra Jean is wearing a lace bonnet and a dress. Mrs. Morris is wearing a hat and a dress. There is a desk with a hat and office supplies on it behind them and a calendar hanging on the back wall.
