Description
In the bottom of the fifth at LaGrave Field, Bill Capps, Beaumont third-basemen, took a throw from pitcher Elden Clark after Jay Haney's bunt. George Pfister was running from second and was forced out at third after sliding feet first. Capps is number 7 for Beaumont. The Cats' third base coach is wearing number 23. Following the force play at third, the Cats' Lou Welaj tripled and drove in two runs.
