Pythian Sisters arrived for their annual session. Standing left to right, are: Mrs. Lola Muckelroy, Nacogdoches, Texas, grand chief of Pythian Sisters, Grand Temple of Texas; Mrs. Fannie Gordon, Dallas, Texas, supreme guard of the national organization, and Mrs. Alta Lacey, Denison, Texas, grand senior and in line for elevation to grand chief. The three women are wearing dresses and spectacles. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 7, 1946.
