Representatives from all local veteran organizations are launching a movement to build a veteran memorial in Fort Worth, Texas. Purchase of a building site at the Hotel Texas was recently authorized. Participating in the campaign, left to right, are H. C. Allison, W. D. Barton, Garrett Middlebrook, H. L. Johnson, and J. M. Floyd. Mr. Allison, is starting the campaign with a $1,000 check. He is dressed in a three-piece, double breasted suit. Mr. Barton is commander of the Blue Bonnet Chapter. He is wearing a pinstripe suit. Mr. Middlebrook is commander of the Camp Bowie Post 78. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Mr. Johnson is vice commander of the Amvets. He is wearing a suit. Mr. Floyd is the commander of Bothwell Kane Post of the American Legion. He is dressed in a dark suit.
