Description
The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. One of the more impressive Spring Training prospects is infielder Hayden Greer. He turned in a remarkable game Wednesday when the Cats faced the New York Yankees in an exhibition game. Greer won't make the Cats roster, but will instead become the player manager of another Brooklyn affiliate, the Abilene Blue Sox. Greer is shown standing against a door, dressed in his baseball uniform.
