Colonel Walter R. Linn, executive officer at Camp Wolters since August 1943, is on terminal leave. He was promoted to full colonel just one day before he went off active duty. He plans to join the sales force of the State Life Insurance Company. He was manager of the dining room at Masonic Home and School before entering service. He lives with his wife. Their daughter, Mrs. Harry Elliott Junior, lives in Bay City, Texas. Colonel Linn is sitting at a desk, writing on a notepad. On the desk is a package and various documents. He is wearing his military uniform.
