Description
Colonel James Goodwin Hall, right, demonstrates with his hand a "close shave" he had in a photo reconnaissance plane, as he and Colonel Thomas H. "Speed" Hubbard, center, one of the Thunderbolt pilots of the 8th Air Force, got together at the Fort Worth Club. Sitting at left is an unidentified man wearing a military uniform. Colonel Hall will soon become a civilian again. Colonel Hubbard is now assigned to the Army Air Forces Training Command (AAFTC) Headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. Both colonels are wearing their military uniforms and are sitting on a couch.
