Description
O. M. (Jimmie) Myer, announced that he will be a candidate for Democratic nomination for constable of Precinct 1, seeking the office held by Sully Montgomery. Myer, former first sergeant served overseas two years and while assigned to the 9th Bomber Command in England, he worked with the British Counter-Intelligence Department. After his return here, he was chief investigator for the Provost Marshal's Office. Before entering the Army, he was lieutenant of the guards at the Quartermaster Depot. He is a member of many Masonic and Eastern Star bodies, and of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Veterans (AMVETS). Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 3, 1946.
