Description
O. B. Shadle, employee at Leonard's, displays an egg, on left, laid by one of his 10-month-old white leghorn hens and compares it with a normal egg. The giant egg weighed half a pound and measured 10 by eight-and-three-quarter inches. Mr. Shadle is wearing a collared shirt, necktie, coat, trousers and eyeglasses, and is sitting at a desk.
