Shown here is Fred B. Dickey who will take the keys to the Insurance Building, 9th and Houston Streets, and establish quarters for his new company, the American Fidelity Insurance Company. He is seated at a table in an office room, facing front and smiling. He is wearing suit and tie. On the table are a file and a telephone. He is only 32, an East Texan who came here in 1940 from Tyler, Texas, to work as state supervisor for Century life. Mr. Dickey will become one of the youngest life insurance presidents in the state when his election is formally approved by a board meeting tentatively set for February 9. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 1, 1946.
