Description
Five steps mark the route of former service men's disability claims, which the state commander of the American Legion say are being handled too slowly in the Waco Veterans Administration office. The second step, completion of a file and assignment of a claim number, finds Franklin Farnsworth, left, receiving files from Miss Louise Potts, claim typist. Like many other employees, Farnsworth is a veteran who spent 13 months in a German prison camp after his B-17 was shot down. He is wearing a button-up shirt and trousers. Miss Potts is wearing a blazer and skirt. Behind them are several filing cabinets.
